William Fernandez

Associate Advisor

Will currently works as a Development Coordinator with the United States Peace Corps mission in Costa Rica based in Guadalupe de Cartago and serves as a member of the Youth Working Group for the U.S. Commission to UNESCO. He is also a recent honors graduate from the University of Chicago receiving a B.A. in History with a focus on 20th Century U.S. Economic and Social Policy.

As an active servant-leader and entrepreneur, Will has helped co-found and support a variety of ventures including the Chicago Youth Philanthropy Group, online publishing forum Error of Opinion, the Chicago Basketball League, and the University of Chicago Institute of Politics. He also has worked with Habitat for Humanity, the Office of U.S. Senator Richard J. Durbin, consulting firm 270 Strategies, and the White House National Economic Council. While at the University of Chicago he was a recipient of the Howell Murray Alumni Association Award, one of the College’s highest honors for campus leadership.
