Las investigaciones demuestran sistemáticamente que los latinos están subrepresentados en televisión, plataformas de streaming y cine. Si bien los latinos representan el 24% de las ventas de entradas de cine, solo el 2% de los papeles principales recaen en actores latinos, según el informe “Latinos en los Medios 2024” de Latino Donor Collaborative.
