En la conferencia matutina del 28 de abril, Claudia Sheinbaum destacó el impacto económico de los mexicanos en Estados Unidos. Según Ana Teresa Ramírez Valdés, directora de Latino Donor Collaborative, hay 38 millones de personas de origen mexicano en EE.UU., de las cuales 34 millones son residentes o ciudadanos. El PIB de estas personas asciende a 2.06 billones de dólares, lo que las posicionaría como la décima economía más grande del mundo si fueran independientes.
