The 2025 LDC U.S. Latinas Overview presents a data-driven analysis of the economic, cultural, and social influence of Latinas in the United States. Produced by the Latino Donor Collaborative (LDC) as part of its Latina Initiative, this report highlights the fastest-growing female demographic in the U.S., their impact as consumers, business owners, and leaders, and the opportunities that remain for greater inclusion and investment.
Latinas are a key economic force, with a 69% labor force participation rate, the second highest among women in the U.S. They are driving entrepreneurial growth, with Latina-owned businesses outpacing those owned by White women and men. At home, 86% of Latinas are the primary shoppers, making them critical decision-makers in household spending across industries.
Beyond their economic power, Latinas are reshaping industries through their values, leadership, and cultural influence. Nearly 80% of Gen Z Latinas identify with their heritage, expecting greater representation from brands and media. However, systemic barriers remain, including limited access to leadership roles, capital for Latina entrepreneurs, and media representation. Latinas hold just 1% of C-suite roles and receive only 39% of the financing they request from banks, despite leading business growth.
This report provides essential insights for business leaders, policymakers, and brands, detailing why investing in Latinas is a strategic imperative for U.S. economic growth. To explore the full analysis, download the 2025 LDC U.S. Latinas Overview from the Latino Donor Collaborative website.
