The 2024 LDC U.S. Latino Voter Report™, produced by the Latino Donor Collaborative, reveals critical insights into the ever-growing power of the Latino electorate. This inaugural edition underscores the immense influence Latino voters have on both national and local elections, dispelling long-held misconceptions about Latino disengagement from politics. With Latinos now representing nearly 20% of the U.S. population and constituting the fastest-growing segment of eligible voters, the report highlights their pivotal role in reshaping the political landscape.

Historically, Latinos have been a decisive force in shaping key electoral outcomes, as demonstrated in states like California, Nevada, Florida, Washington, and Arizona. In past elections, their collective voting power has swung crucial battleground states, leading to significant political shifts.

The report also emphasizes how Latino youth—comprising 25% of the under-18 population in the U.S.—are increasingly influencing electoral outcomes. Every year, 1.4 million Latinos become eligible to vote, with projections estimating that 36.2 million Latinos will be eligible to vote in the 2024 presidential election. Their decisive impact will be felt particularly in five of the seven key swing states, with significant Latino voter bases in Arizona and Nevada, where Latinos make up 27% and 21% of all eligible voters, respectively.
