Summary: The report presents the findings of the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative’s business pulse survey conducted in June of 2020 which analyzed the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Latino owned businesses (LOBs) in America. Findings are presented comparatively, with survey data from late March of 2020 used as a baseline. Generally, it found that more LOBs reported losses in June than in March and that LOBs were negatively affected at a similar rate and to a similar degree to white owned businesses (WOBs) but that LOBs had less access to Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funding than their white owned counterparts.
